Looking under the water surface again with my new camera. So surprising how much there is new on that very familiar swimming spot. The fishes do come very close sometimes, whithout any fear. Sometimes they look me straight in the eye, as curious about me as I am about them. Some live in groups others not. There were three super big ones who did not want to be approached. It is so amazing that they have probably been swimming around me all the times I did go there but I did not see most of them. I asume that might be the case with many other species too. I also do not see all the insects around me and who knows how many unkown beings walk around close to us but just out of our perspective. I have a special liking for this deep blue fish. There are not that many of them. The blue seems to absorp light, it is amost black an then those fluorescent accents. They prefer to swim around on their own exploring the rocks for food. They have a very particular shape. I like their independence, that feels related somehow. I did see one mother keeping an eye on a very small one who was playing. But the young ones are very quickly independent too.
