"What you can imagine exists"

"What you can imagine exists", this is a citation by Pablo Picasso which was used as an advertisement close to my homebase of the moment. It remembers me how important it is to dream and visualise what you want to be true. Imagination is the starting point of all inventions, everything we use and everything we can discover, evrything we will be able to change in the future.

I look at the city in that way, re-desiging it to match my dreams. To turn it into a city where I would love to live.
What is nice about living in the city center is that you can reach so many useful and interesting things just by walking around. You don't have to travel far to find everything you need. Your favorite food, your favorite materials to work with, interesting people with liberating mindblowing new ideas and insights, walking sources of knowledge and experience, amusement everything is there. It is a concentration point which a huge diversity from where you can relate to the rest of the world. That makes the difference with living in more rural areas.

I add to that the dream of light and peaceful beautiful houses and buildings to live in. Living spaces which perfectly match the needs of different human bodies. Outside the buildings squares with luxuriant gardens, orchards, singing birds and very old trees full of wisom. A lot of buildings are grown over by plants who invite even more birds and als give some extra insulation and good quality air. The rivers are clean and there are inviting places to have a picnic, sit down, chat. No cars, no noise no bad smells.

As I see the actual world around me cars and traffic problems give a lot of stress and reduce the quality of living in a city. So they would not exist anymore all the roads would have been used to make more gardens, orchards free for public use, and little woods to shelter some animals who like to live close to humans.

Instead of cars you have new means of transportation. I see a kind of suit you can put on and program and what then instantly can relocate you on the place where you want to be. There are also a kind of soapbells used for the transportation of materials. They rise up, elagantly, soundless, with all the rainbow colours shining on them and on a certain height they go where they have to go like being blown by the wind.
People still travel trough the landscape in old fashioned ways for the pleasure of seeing the landscape, you can walk, go on a horseback, skying, skating, rowing, may be cycling and riding too but only for pleasure.

People do not know the stress for surving anymore. There is no need for war because there is no lack, all resources are available for everyone and there is plenty of everything you need. People spend their time exploring new fields of knowledge, creating art work, making fun together and communicating with other beings. Communication with animals, plants, stones, other planets and stars and their beings is what gives most fun and excitement for a lot of people, because it is opening up new worlds of possibilities again and again. Different ways of perceiving and experiencing, different worlds to explore  and that gives great pleasure.

I will never forget that psychology professor in my university years who tried to help us imagine what the world looks like if you have the eyes of a flie. How different everything would look like and that in fact it is impossible to know wheter the fly might see the world more acurate then we do with our eyes. It is just two different worlds to live in altough you share the same room. Perception is a key concept to understand a worldview and to understand behaviour.

This is a little collection of dreams and ideas gathered over the years on different places. I am a nomad and a hunter gatherer, collecting beautiful dreams.
