Two smaller caves with engravings

Did visit "la grotte du Sorcier" and the "Bara Bahau" cave today. The first one is very small but over a 2000 years between 19.000 and 17.000 years ago people did crawl inside and made engravings  while lying on their backs; The sorcerer is very expressive and touching and it is fascinating how different light angles show different pictures, especially one who is a simple horse in one direction and a bear in another direction.
The cave of Bara bahay is very big and spacious, you still feel the move of a huge underground river or sea stream. The engravings are a little bit more difficult to see because of the many traces of cave bears who were there before the humans came. The place were the engravings are is triangular in shape and the paintings on the ceiling are also put together in a kind of triangle. The upper point is represented in the form of a phallus but also point to a hollow where the cave get much smaller. Wonder what might be there. Did not dare to ask whether I could explore it. For some reason I did not feel like wanting to stay inside that cave. I love the drawings which are mixed up with finger strokes in the clay of the cave wall.
In both caves there were still a lot of lines which did not form clear pictures and can not yet be interpreted.
I very much enjoy the feeling of the lines and therefore the engravings are much more interesting then I did expect before I saw them.
