Two days ago I did this painting inspired on "Les Combarelles" cave. In that particular cave in prehistoric times the floor used to be much higher then it is nowadays. Now you can walk in the 150 metres and see the engravings they made. Before they were coloured but cool is gone now. But at the time the engravings were made people had to crawl inside all those 150 metres and do their work while lying on their sides. And when I touch their lines now with my eyes following them and trying to read their message it feels like touching them and bridging those 14.000 years. Hence the title of this painting a wormhole in time, which allows me to visit the past. It also made me think of an archive where there is information present in a coded form, in the lines.
